I've always been a fan of Final Fantasy and in particular VII. I remember having to trade in about 10 Sega Genesis games and putting an additional 30 bucks to purchase the 4 disk PS1 version when it originally came out.
Simply, one of the best investments of my life.
The unique storylines of each individual, their skill and powers, the religion, the ideologies, the betrayal, the struggles, the legacy, all leads to a fantastic voyage. This is certainly a game you cannot rush through, as each corner and inch of the map can lead to a potential gift.
So, leading up to Remake then Crisis Core (which I orginally had for the PSP) then Yuffies DLC brings me to Rebirth. Having played Rebirth since its release, it took me some adjusting. Having to remember the individual weapon abilities of each character and the Chadleys new way of building up Summons, not to mention the synergy abilities between the characters, there is definitely a learning curve, even for a season vet like myself.
Where am i currently in the game? I've been playing occassionaly between working hours and my son's soccer practice, so i'm about the Mt. Coral area.
One more thing. The Access Materia plays a big role when trying to accomplish all of Chadleys virtual battles so keep that materia within your party. Ohhh! Another quick tip before I forget, keep weapons and armor with the highest amount of materia slots and make sure you have materia in all your party and non party members, so you can develop your materia as you go.
